5.1-magnitude quake hits 66 km NNW of Rabaul, Papua New Guinea: USGS

NEW YORK, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) — An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted 66 km NNW of Rabaul, Papua New Guinea, at 18:32:08 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 3.66 degrees south latitude and 151.91 degrees east longitude. ■
